Take a walk down almost any street or visit the smaller towns in the surrounding area and you will find people eating and drinking alfresco. Sitting in the warm Cape sunshine watching the world go by is a great way to spend an hour or so. Link this with incredible food at great value and you can see why so many people eat out. Wynberg , the home of Palm House is the oldest suburb in Cape Town . Noted for its old cottages known as Little Chelsea and the Maynardville Open-Air Theatre, which presents Shakespearean productions during the balmy summer months.

Cape Town has some fantastic Golf Courses and Palm House is situated in the middle of the very best. Within a 15 km radius you will be able to find eight championship golf courses to play your round of golf for the day.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are very close to Palm House. Special events and open air concerts are held in the grounds. A great way to spend a lazy day.
